Norwalk Flood Damage Recovery Seminar
Join NRWA, the Norwalk Library, and officials from the city for this discussion geared toward homeowners who have been affected by flooding in recent storms. Norwalk’s Michele DeLuca, Alexis Cherichetti and Anthony Carr will join us to discuss various aspects of response to recent flooding events. Michele DeLuca will address possible FEMA and SBA grants available to homeowners and business owners for uninsured losses. Alexis Cherichetti will describe permitting processes required to repair weather related damage to properties located within flood plains and flood ways. Anthony Carr will share results of engineering studies done in different parts of the city to address storm water mitigation and what possible public works projects are underway to help address these issues.
